CIVIL ENGINEERING
Civil Engineering is perhaps the broadest of all the Engineering fields, for it deals with large buildings, roads, bridges, canals, rail road lines, airports, water supply systems, dams, irrigation, harbours, tunnels, and other Engineered constructions. In the next two decades, India is expected to double its infrastructure facilities in terms of buildings, road ways, water supply, power generation, sport & airports. Project like golden chariot, 4 lane, 6 lane road, metro rail and sky bus projects requires a number of diplomo civil Engineers. The other reason for the demand is due to shift in concentration towards IT field. The earnings of civil engineers has surpassed the IT engineers. A high demand for diploma Civil Engineers has arisen in all cities and towns.
HOD Desk
The Civil Engineering departments was started with a mission to produce Engineers of caliber, who with their knowledge and skill in decision making – both in technical and managerial spheres, will be able to contribute to civil Engineering and allied fields in optimizing usage of resources locally and globally.
